  1. Resolved Question: If you were going to invent a religion would you start wit...
  2. 31 May 2008 at 4:14pm
Using the bible as a reference, guilt lays the ground work. Jeremiah 17:9 ?The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?? ?the hearts of the children of man are full of evil, and madness is in their hearts while they live? (Ecclesiastes 9:3). Then you have to convince the sheeple that your religion is the only way to save yourself from eternal torment. "I am the way the truth and the life; NO MAN cometh unto the Father BUT BY ME." -- Jesus Christ (John 14:6) All you have to worry about is that your followers may learn that what you tell them is not original. OSIRIS ? EGYPT: He came to fulfill the law. Called "KRST," the "Anointed One." Born of the virgin Isis-Meri on December 25th in a cave / manger, with his birth announced by a star and attended by three wise men. Called "The Way, the Truth, the Light," "Messiah," "god's Anointed Son. Historically, how did the church manage to keep followers? So what is the truth and how do you prove it is the truth?

  3. Resolved Question: Egyptians, Am I just being nostaligic?
  4. 31 May 2008 at 7:43am
I really really miss my country!! I am Egyptian but have pretty much lived most of my life in the U.K (but had quite an Egyptian upbringing) and I go to Egypt like three times a year... I have always really wanted to move back there because it's my home. I know there are so many problems with my dear country right now but I just cannot imagine not living in Egypt, not having a family and raising my children in Egypt.. Alhamduilliah I have it very easy here in the U.K and it probably would be easier to go get a good job and earn good money here (I'm a journalism student) than Egypt but in my mind, no matter how easy things are here and how hard things are over there I still want to go back. So, am I just being nostalgic and unrealistic? Would it be stupid for me to move back when things are so difficult at the moment? Thanks for the answers, I am going to spend the summer in Egypt Insha'Allah. Mark, my parents live in the U.K as well and are quite settled here so would not be moving back. We have a flat in Alexandria and a flat in Cairo Alhamdullilah and obviously all my family are over there and I know a lot of people so I would have a big support network. I'm not married and I don't have a job, my parents pay for my uni fees and living expenses... I have some money saved up and my family are quite well off Alhamdullilah (although I wouldn't really be living off them when I finish uni). I'm not sure about how much I would get as a journalist in Egypt, my guess is not very much... but then again, in the U.K it's a starting salary of £12,000 P.A... Hi Moroccan girl, yes I am Muslim... it is not a problem for me to move out there without my parents, I won't be living alone, I will be with my family who I know very well. My parents have no issue with this, in fact I am living alone at uni right now which is 10 hours drive away from them!

  5. Resolved Question: How easy is it for an Egyptian man to travel to England?
  6. 30 May 2008 at 6:57pm
Hi- I have done the stupid thing of falling for an egyptian man whilst on holiday (he was my rep). Yes I know all the horror stories- I will not give him a penny, nor marry him in less than a year. However, it would be nice for him to see my country for a week (I'm going to egypt soon for a week, so its only fair :-) But, is it as easy for them to travel here, as it is for me to travel there? Cheers He did say it was very hard getting a VISA- but I kind of put my guard up when I heard that word, and thought, ahh here comes the VISA talk, lol.

  9. Resolved Question: Should I be suspicious?
  10. 30 May 2008 at 6:00pm
So, my boyfriend and I have been together for about three years and things have been serious--talking about marriage, etc. The problem is that he's been overseas for a while (going to school in Europe). While he was in Europe, he emailed me every day and we talked almost every day and he always seemed excited to talk to me and share things with me, etc. A few months ago, he went to Egypt to study and now it's like he's a completely different person. . . His emails are short if there are any at all (and he has internet in his apartment!), and we only talk on weekends. He's also been out of his apartment until very late at night (it's almost 1:00 AM now and I just called and he's not there). I don't want to be a "crazy girlfriend" and be suspicious of him, but what do you think? Is he cheating? I have the feeling. . . but I guess I can't know for sure because he's so far away. . . What do you think? I've already talked to him about it and he's assured me that he "loves me" and wants to spend his life with me and all that. . . so I feel bad about being suspicious but I can't help it!

  13. Resolved Question: Affects of global cooling/warming on environment.?
  14. 29 May 2008 at 1:55pm
I have heard that Egypt was born out of drought. Much of the desert lands in Africa used to be tropical. The cause for the change was global cooling. I have heard that a cooler climate, not a warmer one, actualy creates more deserts. Best I can figure, cooler means less ocean evaperation, less humidity, less persipitation, and thus more deserts. Granted any change over a large are such as forest to bare earth will affect things such as wind, high and low pressure systems. Where can I find more info and answers on these therories? Thanks.

  19. Resolved Question: What do you think of my Essay?
  20. 29 May 2008 at 8:10am
When we look at all the different Gods the Egyptians believed in it seems impossible. What the Egyptians did though was sort them in different groups for their different purposes, which made it a lot more manageable. My hypothesis is that the Egyptians believed in many Gods. In this essay you fill find out about The Gods in general, specific main Gods and Goddesses like Isis, Osiris and Seth. And you will also find out how the Egyptians worshiped these Gods. General- Egyptian Gods and Goddesses In ancient Egypt, many gods and goddesses did different things. Some gods and goddesses took part in creation, some brought the flood every year, some offered protection, and some took care of people after they died. Local gods are some others and they represented towns, or minor gods who represented plants or animals. The Egyptians believed that life would run smoothly if they obeyed and worshiped these gods. The Egyptians must learn all there names with their contexts. Many of these Gods took on an animal formation, but usually only their heads. Horus, for example, has a falcon head, with a human body. Goddesses- Isis Isis is one of the main goddesses in Egyptian belief. She is known as the Mother Goddess and may also hear the Goddess of Rebirth. She is described as wearing a headdress in the shape of a crown. Isis was the first daughter of Gods Geb and Nut, with her brothers being Osiris, Seth and her sister Nephthys. The Egyptians believe that when Osiris was murdered by Seth she took the form of a bird when looking for him. When he was bought back from the dead they got married and conceived Horus, the God of the sky. They also believe that the Nile floods every year from her tears of sorrow for Osiris. Isis is very important in Ancient Egyptian belief as every pharaoh was considered the living Horus. The Egyptians loved her as she would always help them when they?re in need. Gods- Osiris Osiris is the god of the underworld, or afterlife. He is described as having dark green skin, green being the colour of rebirth, holding a crook and flail. He is the oldest son of Geb and Nut and he was murdered by his brother Seth. His sister Isis resurrected him from the death, making him the God of the Afterlife. He then married his sister and had Horus. The Egyptians believe that if you lived a good life, you would ?become an Osiris? in the afterlife, which means if you are loyal and respectful in your mortal life, you will then become a God in the afterlife. Osiris is a very important part of Ancient Egyptian culture and belief as it gives then hope and belief of the afterlife. Gods- Seth Seth represented everything that threatened harmony in Egypt. He was the God of Chaos. He is described as a man with a jackal head and a rod called the Was, which was shaped as a jackal head. He is the second son of Geb and Nut and is brother to Isis and Osiris, as well as the husband and brother of Nephthys. Animals sacred to this god where the dog, the jackal, the gazelle, the donkey, the crocodile, the hippopotamus, and the pig. After he murdered Osiris he was fighting to be the ruler of the living against his nephew Horus. (need paragraph here) In conclusion, the Ancient Egyptians had many different beliefs in Gods, some that only pharaohs and high priests could pray to and other that anyone could pray to, asking them to protect from daily dangers like scorpion bites, sandstorms, childbirth, ect. The Egyptians were smart people, they had to learn all about the gods and there contexts. Following up my hypothesis, that Egyptians believe in many Gods, their (need a finishing sentence). I'm only in grade 8, it doesnt have to be full on huge big words and facts.

  21. Resolved Question: Tourist Visa for Marriage?
  22. 29 May 2008 at 1:26am
I am a US citizen and I have a legitimate relationship with my finace' who is currently studying in Egypt and is graduating from a university in 1 month for accounting. I was planning on traveling to Egypt to get married but things didnt work out as planned. I thought mabey it would be easier to just have my fiance' come to the US on a tourist visa so that we could get married and just stay here while we wait on the marriage visa paperwork to be processed. Is this a realistic idea or will he have to leave back to egypt and wait? I know of some women in the Phillipenes going this route so they dont have to wait in their country for everything to be processed but they are scamming which i am not. Doesnt applying for a k1 visa take a long time???

  25. Resolved Question: Which hot beach country for a holiday alone?
  26. 28 May 2008 at 4:46pm
Help me find a holiday destination! It looks like i'll be travelling alone this year and I don't know where to go. I just want to go somewhere hot and by the beach for a week or two, where people are friendly and I can get along alone safely. I'm not made of money but am willing to spend for something that's worth it. Obviously it would help if there were things to do in that country. I wanted to go to Egypt to do things like quad biking in the desert, climb Moses mountain, snorkel, ride camels etc. But I'm too wary of travelling there as a single female. Anybody have any recommendations or suggestions?! Thank you xxx

  35. Resolved Question: 2008 after Christ, does it began when Jesus is born, age 2...
  36. 27 May 2008 at 8:08am
Others give to Jesus as 1-4004 [ Rome took Judah, not to Jesus ], or 1-4026 [ Judges 11:26; 300 + 56 and 480 will be from Egypt ], or 1-4049 [ for history ]. I find after careful studies, 4066 [ Yr 2554-1512 BC at Josh.5:6,10,12; plus Judges 11:26 to Jair 300 + 29 to & 66 Samuel, 40 Saul, 40 David, Solomon 4, 1Ki.6:1 [ = 480 from Moses death ], + 36 1Ki. 11: 42; yr 3069, 997 BC [ Exodus Decoded got the same thing that I did ]. Then 1-33 Jesus ascended, was Jesus age 35? My studies yeild 4064 Jesus + age 2, + 2008 after Christ [ of 2064 after Christ as to prophecy, yr 3460 to Daniel, + 2520 yrs to Michael at Satan's short time in the time of the end, at 2 places it is 150 years = 6130 years [ now is 6074 ], Dan.12:1-12 [ 2x 1335 = ] 2670 years, 2520 + 94 is 2614, [ 606 BC + 2008 after Christ is 2614 of 2670 ]; Now 6074 and Christ reign of 1000 years no Satan. Some one [ several ] can surely examine time and prophecy as it is all there. Sorry, but since you are not helping me learn the things I am trying to pass along or get your opinion on after being a bible student 45 years, I guess my interest are not worth it to most, the day and hour is a far cry from 6074 years, Matt.24:3,7,14,15,22,36-38; All is in the book but the day and the hour even at 6130 years Eden to the 1000 yr reign, no one knows the day and hour and anybody could figure this out, so I for one do not use it as an excuss to think negative about God's word or to prevent me from supporting his word with all the intelligence I find in it to support God and Christ and Philip.2:5,9-12; 2Cor.5:20; Acts 17:31; 24:15; Rom.14:9-12; Heb.9:27; John 5:26-29; Dan.12:2; Isa.26:19; Matt.19:28 [ Eze.37:12-14 ]; Psm.104:29,30; 1Cor.15:22-28,51-53; Jesus has ascended and his kingdom with his 2nd coming draws near with each passing day, the clock has been ticking from Eden to Jesus in Rome, from Rome to the 2nd coming of Jesus. Even so, come Lord Jesus.

  39. Resolved Question: paper on Egypt????????
  40. 26 May 2008 at 5:39pm
Ancient Egypt: Ancient Egypt: once upon a time there was an ancient civilization, in northeast africa; Ancient Egypt. Ancient Egypt was a very magical place; run by a pharoah, the civilization was dependent on the nile river. Page 2: The Ancient civilization in egypt was very dependent on the nile river for survival. The nile was not only a source of fresh water, but was also a big help in farming. Controlled irrigation of the fertile land produced more then enough crops, and silt, a mud-like substance from the nile helped plants grow in the desert of Egypt. Despite the nile flooding yearly, the egyptians were able to adapt and produce a surplus of crops. Because of this surplus, Egyptians were able to focus on other things, being one of the first civilizations to develop an independent writing system. Page 3: The Egyptian writing system was called hyroglyphics. Pictures represented words, letters and phrases. Hyroglyphics were often carved, or painted in/onto the walls of tombs and other important buildings. These carvings told stories and talked about important events in ancient egypt's history. Because of these drawings, modern day scientists are now able to read about the history of egypt. Page 4: The person in charge of running the civilization was the pharoah. The pharoah not only had control of all the people of ancient Egypt, but also the Egyptian army. pharoahs often lived in prestigous buildings, and had many slaves. Most kings ordered the slaves to build temples and tombs. In fact, most pharoahs ordered slaves to start building their tombs as soon as they had been appointed. Pharacy was inderited through blood, normally going to the pharoahs first son. 5: how good is it? i mean its suppose to be a "childrens book/story" i know it has tons of typos :) sorry i have a different copy that i has them all fixed, but its on my computer at my dad's house :) but i will get the good copy b4 its due. no worries. it has to have 10 pages, so im still working on it

  45. Resolved Question: Agency/where to look for a good, live in nanny?
  46. 25 May 2008 at 4:55pm
Will be in either alexandria/cairo in january. Have 3 kids who'll be ranging in age 1.5 yrs -7 yrs and I'm not o.k. w/ the ppl. hubby has in mind to watch children. Being raised the way they have been has diminished their ability to cross the street like other children in egypt among other things...i.e., I was horrified to find that after leaving my kids for just a few hrs. w/ his fam. members my son was hanging out of an open window and my daughter was left to feed herself w/ a piece of chicken that still had bones in it. apparently his family members are talented w/ eating possibly lethal foods at young ages (i.e., a 3 year old picking apart a fish/chicken), but mine aren't and still aren't. So what agency/place can I go to find a care giver who prob. won't have my kids hanging out a window/playing unsupervised in the middle of the street so that a donkey + cart my run them over? aisha, i do thank you for your ans. I'll incorporate working things out w/ him. This is a relationship in which I guide the fine details in our lives such as these types of logistics. I'm not muslim but I'll respect the beliefs and culture to the best of my ability regardless...also, yahoo answers has provided me w/ A LOT of helpful advice in regards to my upcoming one year stint in egypt since my spouse doesn't have the time to find the things that will make my time there most comfortable. If I find a feasable way of living a lifestyle I like, he'll be happy as well. As for an unwillingness to care for my children, I do love them dearly, but a little help along the way is all I'm looking for.

  53. Resolved Question: pay? make her help pay? or leave her?
  54. 24 May 2008 at 7:47pm
i travel very often. i'm taking some kind of trip (at least) every month. okay almost 2 months ago i ran into a girl i knew from high school (many moons ago). i liked her back then but nothing never came of it. recently we've been hitting it off really well and she's already talking about how much she loves and wants to marry me (thats another story) i didnt take her with me on my april trip. i changed my original plans for my may trip so she could go me. we drove 4 hours and spend a few days in a neighboring city. we just got back and she's already got a laundry list of places she'd like to go for june. puerto rico, costa rica, egypt, etc. thing is she doesnt have the kind of money to be traveling like that. i'm sure that she expects me to pay for it. i travel as often as i do because its just me. the costs of travel are rapidly rising and i dont want to pay it for both of us. how do i tell her she needs to chip in or get left? i mean without losing her altogether that is.lol no i'm not unemployed or retired. i work a 12 hour (3 on 4 off. 4 on 3 off) schedule. the way it designed i end up with a 7 day off period every 4th week. i use that week to travel. plus i get yearly bonuses from work. most recent was 23k. messed around and told her so since she knows i have the money she just assumes i will foot her bill. i dont want to tho...lol

  58. 24 May 2008 at 3:36pm
I don't understand, no one says that Jesus is white but why did they make paintings of him white? That was the last thing he was. He was black, now before any body starts to yell and write something bad listen to me. No, he was not African American. But his skin color was black. Jesus could have had traces of Arab, Aramean, Berber, Roman, Greek, Black African, Persian or Indian. He had woolly hair, as blacks do. though he had olive skin. Making him probably the color of a middle eastern. But from Mary's ancestors that quite possibly were Egyptian. Schools used to often disreguard the fact the Egypt is in africa. He lived very close to Africa when he was born so he quite possible was black. And even if he wasn't he wasn WHITE. But i have nothing against white people, i love white people. I'm black myself though. So why did the churches do that? They gave him silky hair and stuff.

  66. 23 May 2008 at 8:00am
i believe that we can, after we get red of the corrupted government, and we have a great leader for our country we may become a superpower again. we was once before and we can do it again. egyptians do great things but only when they go to another advanced country what if they done that in thier country? @love hurts: we dont have any kind of color racism, and its not like what u think about muslims and christians, and women are not locked up till marriage i dont have to let my daughter be a prostitute so we become advanced, it maybe something good in ur point of view but that doesnt make it right. if u dont know about us then dont answer that question @angel eye: u look jealous lol :D

  72. 22 May 2008 at 7:46am

  73. Resolved Question: Manufacturing in Egypt and selling abroad?
  74. 21 May 2008 at 11:47pm
Hey everyone I had a question, if I am starting a business of selling things made in Egypt (i.e I will be making the things, and I will be sending them to someone overseas to sell them) do I need any license or anything in Egypt, besides export license? Like do I need to start a company to produce the things, etc? I wanted to email the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, but their site says, they have to save my IP and i have to write my company name (do not have one yet). So does anyone have any idea, or know where I can find information, please? Cheers.

  75. Resolved Question: What seperates continents?
  76. 21 May 2008 at 8:11pm
What seperates continents, how are North and South America not considered one continent, as well as Africa, Asia & Europe one continent. If mountains ranges are something that seperates continents like they seperate Asia, Europe then why arent there like 4 or 5 continents in North & South America where there are different mountain ranges. why isnt africa, europe & asia one continent since the only things seperating them would be tectonic plates or the Suez Canal in Egypt which is man made and not natural. North and South America also have nothing natural that seperates them besides tectonic plates If tectonic plates are used for determining a continent then why arent there like 23 continents since there are 23 plates Europe looks like a big peninsula of Asia

  77. Resolved Question: Why do you think God is a loving God?
  78. 21 May 2008 at 2:48am
?I will corrupt your seed and spread dung upon your faces!? - Malachi 2:3 ?...for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God? - Deut 5:9 "For our God is a consuming fire!" - Hebrews 12:29 ?He cast upon them the fierceness of his anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels among them.? - Psalms 78:49 ?Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger...? - Isaiah 13:9 ?The Lord is a man of War!? - Exodus 15:3 "...They shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child (pregnant) shall be ripped up!" - Hosea 13:16 "... at midnight the Lord smote all the first born in the land of Egypt, from the first born of the pharaoh... unto the first born of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the first born cattle" - Exodus 12:29 I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.? - Isaiah 45:7 Oh, it's the old testament? Uhh, then we can ignore 10 commandments, yes? To Alice W - YES! That would make them killers themselves; for they are putting, to death, people. Capital Punishment is a question separate from this, but killing a human being is wrong, PERIOD. End of story! To Josh: I don't have a problem with people standing their ground; it's when they get ignorant that I have the problem. Isaiah0016 - You mean God said something he didn't mean?!?! I guess he's not the almighty god you portray him to be, then eh? To Morning Star: Does that not sound like two completely different Gods and/or two completely different religions to you?!?!?! To Enzomusiq: RELIGION created the concept of good and evil. Try again.

  79. Resolved Question: what does this quote mean from midsummer nights dream?
  80. 20 May 2008 at 11:48pm
lovers and madmen have such seething brains, such shaping fantasies, that apprehend more than cool reason ever comprehends. the lunatic, the lover, and the poet are of imagination all compact. one sees more devils than vast hell can hold: that is the madman. the lover all as frantic. sees helen's beauty in a brow of egypt the poet's eye in a fine frenzy rolling doth glance from heaven to earth, from earth to heaven, and as imagination bodies forth the form of things unkown, the poet's pen turns them to shapes and gives to airy nothing a local habitation and a name

  81. Resolved Question: Egyptian parents, help please?
  82. 20 May 2008 at 10:28am
I am posting this in Egypt rather than the parenting section because I want the view of Egyptian parents due to cultural reasons. My five and a half year old daughter told me a while ago that a boy in her class (KG 1!) hugged and kissed her (!!). I told her not to let that happen again. She was wondering why it is OK for her friends who are girls to do so, but not the boys. I am not worried about this particular kid, after all he is just a kid. What worries me is that I don't want to confuse her or scare her and I don't really know how to explain things to her in a suitable manner. I want her to beware of creeps, perverts and pedophiles but at the same time I don't want her to grow up associating physical contact with fear or shame. She is also reaching an age where she is starting to ask many questions about her body and things like that. I hate the way such matters are handled in our society to the extent that girls at the age of marriage know almost nothing whatsoever about their own bodies! I don't want her growing up to be repressed and ashamed of what is natural and healthy but I don't know how to approach this matter in a way appropriate to her age. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

  87. Resolved Question: Egyptian marriage?
  88. 18 May 2008 at 12:03pm
Could anyone enlighten me on the process of an Egyptian marraige in Egypt not UK please. Where do they marry? Does it have to be in a mosque or is there such a thing as their version of a registry office wedding. Someone told me you can get married in the British Embassy if it is an Egyptian marrying an Englishwoman. What if that Egyptian is already married in Egypt. Does that make his marraige to his English wife legal? And what if they both want to move to England? Will the fact that he is married to an Egyptian at home stop him. I have heard many Pakistanis have wives in the UK and also home in Pakistan. I am asking for no particular reason, only because it was a discussion I had at work yesterday. Thank you.

  93. Resolved Question: Crytal Skull.......anciet Mayan artifact found in Belize?
  94. 17 May 2008 at 5:45am
One of the Crystal Skulls were found by the Mayan Ruin of Lubaantun in Belize, i think that artifacts shouldnt be taken away from the country they were found in, do you think it should be given back to Belize? I am from Belize and a lot of our artifacts have been stolen or smuggled from the country, if i went to Egypt and found a tomb, i wouldnt be able to take anything that i found in it, i think the owners of the skull should give it back to the country. what do you think every since I heard about this story years ago ive felt this way and many of the people in Belize feel the same way, we see it as a sacred treasure and even tough it was taken years ago i feel like the owners should have some morals and do the right thing. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crystal_skull here's a piece of the article from wikipedia Mitchell-Hedges skull Perhaps the most famous and enigmatic skull was allegedly discovered in 1926 by Anna Le Guillon Mitchell-Hedges, adopted daughter of British adventurer and popularist author F.A. Mitchell-Hedges. Anna Hedges claimed that she found the skull buried under a collapsed altar inside a temple in Lubaantun, in British Honduras, now Belize.[7] As far as can be ascertained, F.A. Mitchell-Hedges himself made no mention of the alleged discovery in any of his writings on Lubaantun. Also, others present at the time of the excavation have not been documented as noting either the skull's discovery or Anna's presence at the dig. In a 1970 letter, Anna also stated that she was "told by the few remaining Maya, and was used by the high priest to will death".[9] The artifact is sometimes referred to as "The Skull of Doom", either because of its seemingly inexplicable properties and the supposed ill-luck of those who have handled it, or perhaps a play on 'Skull of Dunn' (Dunn being an associate of Mitchell-Hedges). Anna Mitchell-Hedges toured with the skull from 1967 and continued to give interviews about the artifact until her death in 2007.

  95. Resolved Question: Male and female Dynamics in Egypt?
  96. 16 May 2008 at 7:48am
Would your responses be different if this person was a male? If there avatar said Egyptian hot girl, Saudi hot guy or Egyptian Hot guy? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ao8Qpj5vwFymMpoCFcwyrVTsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid= 20080515152224AAIbzTk&show=7#profile-info-NOQgowTGaa Are people also trying to say that relations outside of married life dont happen? If sexual relations outside of married life happen, what are the risks associated with this by living/being in the Arab/Muslim world or communities? Why do you personally frown upon it, is it religious, cultural or that fact that it is being carried out and the person is discussing that they do such things? @ jwl either shut up or put up, i didnt unblock your bratty attitude to come into my question and start given your thoughts on me- i unblocked you because the question needed answers and balance- which you lack most of the time but I knew what you would answer on this one. If you cant answer in a articulate way dont answer my questions. To me your a kid, a child..so either answer in a good way or leave your brat attitude out of my questions @ JWL, im very happy be able to de personalise your answers and gave you a thumb up, so if you would like to add more or a valid case for your answer that would be more helpful isadora you have misunderstood the question: I have not picked fault with the name of Saudi girl at all - infact this question is the opposite of that. Im seeing if people would treat her answers and questions in a different way if she was a male! So please understand the context of the question!

  97. Resolved Question: What evil has God done compared to Satan. Who is more evil?
  98. 16 May 2008 at 6:00am
God? -created hell -created an evil tree in eden -placed an evil tempting snake in eden -Wiped out Earth and every living thing except a few animals and some people with a flood -Destroyed an entire city, sparing Lot & his wife- oh except he also said anyone who looks bad will be turned to stone, being all knowing, knew then that lots wife would look back -Killed every first born of Egypt because he hardened pharaoh's heart against him When he could have simply set Israel free without killing anyone at all (being God) -Created diseases -Created all natural disasters, knowing millions of lives will suffer -Led his people into many wars -Advised land raids(stealing) -The punishment for rape is that the rapist marries the victim -Slavery is not wrong -Oppressing women is not wrong -Promised people he will answer their prayers when they're sick. Which has lead to people halting medical research and cases where people refused medical help for prayer, leading to deaths. Satan? -Rebelled. Why aren't the theists replying to my question? My question is who is more evil and I expect you to support your argument somehow. No point saying 'Satan is cuz he's satan' given the examples I've posted you'll seem like an ignoramus fool. So back up your answer with a reason. And stop avoiding the question... Jesus was sent to save us from God not Satan.

  99. Resolved Question: Anyone heard the Dennis Miller quote on the situation in I...
  100. 15 May 2008 at 5:13pm
The Palestinians want their own country. There's just one thing about that: There are no Palestinians. It's a made up word. Israel was called Palestine for two thousand years. Like "Wiccan," "Palestinian" sounds ancient but is really a modern invention. Before the Israelis won the land in war, Gaza was owned by Egypt, and there were no "Palestinians" then, and the West Bank was owned by Jordan, and there were no "Palestinians" then. As soon as the Jews took over and started growing oranges as big as basketballs, what do you know, say hello to the Palestinians," weeping for their deep bond with their lost "land" and "nation." So for the sake of honesty, let's not use the word "Palestinian" any more to describe these delightful folks, who dance for joy at our deaths FAMIL until someone points out they're being taped. Instead, let's call them what they are: "Other Arabs Who Can't Accomplish Anything In Life And Would Rather Wrap Themselves In The Seductive Melodrama Of Eternal Struggle And Death." I know that's a bit unwieldy to expect to see on CNN. How about this, then: Adjacent Jew-Haters." Okay, so the Adjacent Jew-Haters want their own country. Oops, just one more thing. No, they don't. They could've had their own country any time in the last thirty years, especially two years ago at Camp David. But if you have your own country, you have to have traffic lights and garbage trucks and Chambers of Commerce, and, worse, you actually have to figure out some way to make a living. That's no fun. No, they want what all the other Jew-Haters in the region want: Israel. They also want a big pile of dead Jews, of course -- that's where the real fun is -- but mostly they want Israel. Why? For one thing, trying to destroy Israel - or "The Zionist Entity" as their textbooks call it -- for the last fifty years has allowed the rulers of Arab countries to divert the attention of their own people away from the fact that they're the blue-ribbon most illiterate, poorest, and tribally backward on God's Earth, and if you've ever been around God's Earth, you know that's really saying something. It makes me roll my eyes every time one of our pundits waxes poetic about the great history and culture of the Muslim Mideast. Unless I'm missing something, the Arabs haven't given anything to the world since Algebra, and, by the way, thanks a hell of a lot for that one. Chew this around and spit it out: Five hundred million Arabs; five million Jews. Think of all the Arab countries as a football field, and Israel as a pack of matches sitting in the middle of it. And now these same folks swear that if Israel gives them half of that pack of matches, everyone will be pals. Really? Wow, what neat news. Hey, but what about the string of wars to obliterate the tiny country and the constant din of rabid blood oaths to drive every Jew into the sea? Oh, that? We were just kidding.< >
